Charlotte frowned, she sure hoped that Charles was not second-guessing her. She would never stray. As odd as he was in his ways, she was his, and he was her's. There would be no arguing about it.
She looked askance at Mr. Collins so he would let go of her arm, and she stepped over to stand with Charles. "Now that we are all together, I don't see why we can't continue our stroll."

She looked up at him appologtically and moved her hand from his and placed her now free hand on his arm. She lent close and whispered, low enough so only he heard, "I am not free to hold your hand in public until we are declared married, in the eyes of state, and...," she blushed a bit, "of God."

She smiled charmingly up at him, "Don't berate yourself, Charles, it will only distress yourself. That would not be a lovely way to spend the afternoon, what with you in the throws of a foul mood. Please be happy, smile for me."

Mr. Collins glanced at the two of them before deciding to bow out of the stroll. "I am afraid that i have to leave for Lady Catherine's estate later today and still have many things to accomplish before I leave. Good day"

"I have a strange feeling he dissaproves of me." Charles chuckled. He turned to Mr.Collins, "Please, good sir, stay with us a while, I would very much like to become your friend."

"You need not feel like the extra in the party," She smlied playfully, "If anyone should feel like an extra it should be Mr. Graham." She smiled at him to show him she was saying that in jest. "We shall all have a comforatble stroll on this lovely mild afternoon. Please, Mr. Collins, I didn't mean to get on the wrong foot, and I would very much like to have a civil discussion."

"Miss. Charlotte the conversation before was not quite civil I do not see how this one could maintain a pretense of such. Good day Miss. Charlotte. Mr. Graham" he said before turning and leaving.
