Charles frowned and ran in front of him. "Please sir, I want to make more friends, learn more about society and how to act outside, as I believe I shall be as such more."

Mr. Collins raised an eyebrow "I really do have better things to do with my time. My esteemed Patronage Lady Catherine is expecting me to arrive there within the week and i have yet to spend very much time with my cousins. Why make friends when we shall never meet again?" he asked with a smirk making sure the man knew he had friends in high places. "Now excuse me, I do believe Miss. Charlotte is waiting for you." he said with a scowl.

"I do hope you know that not one woman in the Bennet household will take you if you shunn me, most especailly in public. Mr. Graham, come away. Let Mr. Collins go on doing anothers bidding." She was upset that even though they had quite a row, he would not still walk with her. For some reason, that hurt her feelings. She didn't love him, for that's what she felt for Charles, but it must be something close. The thought of him walking away so ungraciously made her angry and very sad at the same time.

Charles frowned, "The idea of friendship is that I do get to see you again." he shouted back, while walking to Charlotte. "I'm sorry," he whispered.

"It's not a problem. I suppose he had better things to do with his day, as he said."

Mr. Collins sighed as he continued to walk away from the two of them. If Charlotte really thought he would put up with the man who had taken his chance of her marring him away she was very foolish. Though he should appoligize to her if not to the man. He spunn around. "Miss. Charlotte please do forgive the slight but I must confess to a grave urgency in returning to my parsh."

"This keeps happening." Charles frowned.

'Mr. Collins, please don't berate yourself. I was horrid to you earlier. I should have watched my tounge more closely. I should not have said the things I did. For what I did alone you should be able to walk away from with without a second glance." Her eyes saddend, "I just...oh, well we won't get into it again. Have fun with your patroness."

Mr. Collins bowed towards her then nodded to Mr. Graham. Then he turned and left.

Charles pouted, and looked at Charlotte with sad eyes.

Pulling herself together, she looked over to Charles to see him standing there looking for the world like a kicked pup. "Charles," she asked a bit impatiently, "whatever is the matter?" She noticed her sharp tone and frowned, "I am sorry, I seem to be a bit testy."

"You're the only person I spend my time with. And although I could easily spend the rest of my life you with you and more. It would also be nice to meet and make friens with new people."

"It doesn't work." Charles chuckled, "You're too cute for me to take you completely seriously when you're mad."

She gummbled, "That not a very nice thing to say. I'd like to think I was pretty when I am perfectly rational, not when I am mad."
