William was starting to wonder what he was doing here. He had not seen Georgiana in what seemed like ages. He recalled their meeting on Bond Street and how interesting that had been. Grinning ruefully at himself, he almost never called on young, unmarried ladies because that signaled something more to the ton. It said he was ready for the Parson's Mouse Trap, which he most certainly wasnt. He wanted more than anything to turn tail and run, but he was too far now. He was at the parlor door when the maid announced him. At his name, he walked through the door and bowed low. "Miss Georgiana, what a pleasure to see you again."

Georgiana immediatley stood up putting her book to the side and curstied. "How nice of you to call upon us Sir, my brother is currently out at the moment though"

Bloody brilliant luck, William thought. Now he was alone in the room with an unmarried girl. "So, Miss Darcy, it has been quite a while since we last met. Please, do be seated, I don't plan on taking up much of your valuble time."

Geogiana sitted her self in a chair and gestured for her guest to do the same. 'Would you like some tea?"
(what is his title again?)

(Lord Snowden, Earl of.)
He nodded, "Yes please, one lump, no creame." He sat himself in the chair adjacent hers, the one to which she pointed. "What a lovely room you keep, Miss Darcy." He shifted uncomfortably in the too small chair of the time. They were pettite things, meant for women to lounge in, but they were far too small for his athletic build.

Georgiana smiled at him "Thank you Lord Snowden" she replied before busing herself with making the tea. She handed it to him before asking "May I ask how much longer you plan to remain in London?"

He shifted uncomfortably once more in the small chair, "About a fortnight, Miss Darcy. I plan on taking care of some matter here with my Solicitor, and then I shall be back on my way to my estate."

"Well I do hope that the rest of your stay in London shall be well" Georgiana replied

"As do I. With my day brightened by a call to you, I cannot imagine the rest of my stay going amiss." He smiled warmly at Georgiana knowing something would come of his stay here.

He smiled a bit rougishly, "I see I have shocked you, Miss Darcy. I hope you know that is not my intent in coming here. I have actually come to call on your brother, but hearing that he was out, I chose to call on you in his stead. After all, what man wouldn't like to brighten up his morning with such a sunny disposition?"

"Ah, I see. That makes sense. I shall just call on him at Bingley's, heh? But at the moment I think I shall continue to take tea with you, Miss Darcy, do you object? If so, I can be on my way in a trice."

"Oh no, i have no objection and i shall inform my brother you came to call upon him. " she replied lightly while getting up and calling a maid, just realizing that therre was not one in the room. How improper of her, what he must think of her.
