He grinned, "She shall think you quite the minx. Now, I sense you have something more you wish to say. You normally are not this fidgety when you are playing."

"I am just concerned that Miss. Bennet will not like my playing when she comes to visit Brother dear. Plus I am praticing for when one of your old school friends may drop by after all Mr. Bingley seems to enjoy my playing" she responded lightly but quickly.

He smiled a bit wryly, "I am not sure he will be at liberty to enjoy another's playing for much longer, my dear. And I am not expecting any visitors anytime soon. With the Season in full swing, I doubt highly that I will see anyone for weeks yet."

Georgiana just smiled at him lightly "Brother, may I ask when I shall be able to spend the season in Londen?"

"You shall go to London for the Little Season. I have no use, nor do you at your age, to be in London for the Season. We shall spend some of the Holiday in London and come back to Pemberly for Christmas and New Year. Why this hurry to go to London? I thought you hated the place?"

Georgiana frowned lightly "I do not care for the gossip of the London but I do enjoy London in its self for a while. Surely Elizabeth would enjoy a trip to London? And as for age I am 17 brother."

"Ah, but what is age but a number, eh? Well, you are still far to niave to go into London without me there the whole time. I cannot take Lizzy into London without her father or someone in attandance, and you well know it. I suppose I could call on her Uncle in Cheapside to see if he would like to visit our house in Town for a time. It would be quite nice. Mr. Gardiner is quite the jovial fellow. I like him. But somehow I think that there is more to your request than I see. Care to elaborate?" Darcy sent her one of his, what she named, "lord and master" looks, enticing her to tell him the full truth of it.

Georgiana bit her full lip lightly. "Brother I am not a child anymore, those are my only thoughts. After all I am only 3 years younger than Miss. Lizzy"

Darcy was a bit discomfited by that thought, "Indeed, but Miss Bennet is of a far shaper, more cynical mind. She was not raised to the privledge you were."

Georgiana glared at her brother. "Just because you love her It is fine for her to be allowed to be seen at the season but your sister who is of age can not because she is your sister and not fit to be seen"

Darcy sighed an put his head in his hands, "No, Georgiana, that is not it at all. Elizabeth is my intended, but you are my ssiter. Men, stupid ones at that, will be making advances toward you and that is not what I am quite ready for. You are 17, and Miss Bennet is one and twenty. Her attitude toward life is much less forgiving, therefore her father was sure she'd not be beguiled into anything foolish. You, my dear, dear sister, are much too forgiving and in the ton they will use that against you. What spurs on these thoughts in the first place?"

Georgiana did not answer his question merely turned her back to him and began playing on the piano again. Oviously her brother was crazy if he thought he could lock her up till she was two and twenty.

Darcy sighed. At this point, he hoped that if him and Elizabeth were ever blessed with children, they would all be boys...he wasn't sure at all that he could take this kind of abuse. Rubbing his temples with his hand, he settled back into the chair and let the music wash over him.

Georgiana being a kind hearted and loving sister did the only thing a loving sister would do, forget something important told to her. After all if her brother thought her to be whimsical and not sharp of mind, then she just may forget to inform him of Lord Snowden.

Thinking over his more harsh comments he threw at Georgiana, Darcy started to feel a pricking of his conscience. "Georgiana, dearest...I hope I have not just offended you. Do you not see the important office I hold as your older brother? I am not quite ready to have my privacy invaded by a bunch of brightly waistcoated snobs and rouges and fourtune hunters. But," he took a steadying breath and caught her attention, "you can go to London with me under one condition..."
