Georgiana sat at the piano forte playing a lovely piece. She knew that her brother enjoyed this piece and knew that when he entered she would begin to sing for she had news for him that he was sure to become upset about.

Book in hand, Darcy walked into the music room. As was tradition, after supper, the family would retire to the music room, Georgiana to her music, and Darcy with his book. He smiled as the heard Gerorgiana playing one of his favorite peices.

He opend his tome on how to better the drainage of the feilds and began reading. He never really like reading of this sort, but he was a strong beliver in helping where one was needed. At the moment, his pastures were flooding due to a lack of drainage. His sheep would suffer soon if he didn't take the problem in hand. With a sigh, he vaugly listened to his sister play as he read how to keep his precious flock from swimming.

Georgiana noticed what he was reading and frowned. There must be a problem with the fields. It had been raining quite a bit. This probably made her brother's mood not as relaxed and calm as she hoped it to be. "Come brother put that book down and listen to me sing, I have been praticing this song to sing with Miss. Elizabeth Bennet."

Darcy frowned; he really needed to get this done. His estate manager could only do so much without direction. Sighing he put the book on the side table and walked over to the pianoforte. "Let me hear the song you plan on bestowing upon Miss Bennet then."

Darcy smiled at the sound of his sister's voice. He was going to have to beat her male admirers away with a stick. His frowned slightly and shifted uncomfortably in his chair. The though of his sister in a relationship like his with Lizzy made him quite uncomfortable; it made him quite sick at his stomach. He supposed he wanted to keep her in a glass box on the mantle away from all men, but that wasn't to be.

He sat up straighter and looked at her, his frown vanishing, "Oh, no, my dear! I was quite preoccupied! I had nothing to do with your marvelous singing."

Georgiana looked at him "Oh, brother there is no need to be so comforting, we both realized it was terrible, what will Miss. Bennet think of me?" she asked teasingly
