Ianto gulped what was left in his glass. "I think, my dear, that it would be benificail for you to try to stay out of the path of other people for awhile. I mean, if you keep wanting people to die, that is almost as bad as killing them. And then there is the matter of Brittish law. You are not a titled person, are you? That puts you a disadvantage already. You will be killed instead of transported. Or, there is a chance since you are a woman, they will send you to the Bethleham Hospital for the Mentally Unstable. Now, know this, your secret is safe from me, but these are things you must think about."

"Nobody knows I killed them," she whispered, "And staying out of the way of people is easy."

For some strange reason, one he didn't particularly want to puzzle over, he felt this tug of worry steal over him, "Then don't tell anyone else, do you hear! No one!"

"I don't intend to, you asked." she said softly, "Oh, and the only reason I can trust you with this, is because I know how easy it would be to kill you."

He rolled his eyes, "That, my dear, is not something you tell someone."

He grinned reluctantly, "You are one strangely charming woman."

"Charming?" She laughed, "I have never before been referred to as charming."

He chuckled, "Yes, you are indeed, a very charming woman. As relucatant as I am to say this, you aren't that bad of a person, if one can see past the slight indescresion you have committed."

Lauren was having a hard time not to laugh, because she found the notion of being charming absurd. "And what exactly may I ask, makes me so charming?"

Now Ianto frowned slightly, "Erm...your jumping from compassion to hating the world I suppose."

"How does a swing of mood, make me charming, if anything, it would make most men worried." Lauren smiled. "Are you so hard to scare?"

"I suppose after years of fighting in a war, you loose some of your flightyness. But also, it is all the rage for women to be blithering simpletons. I find you refreshing...a breath of fresh air, so to speak."

Lauren grinned, pushed her hair back from her face, looked as innocent as possible, then put on a exaggerated cute voice, "you mean if I were more like this, then you wouldn't like me?" She returned her hair to normal, along with the rest of her and laughed, "I sure well hope so."

"Well," he reached out and grabbed her hair and twirled it into a bun on the back of her head, "No, if you wore your hair like this and more modern colors and satins, along with that cutesy voice, then no, I wouldn't like you."
